DACA

DACA (Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals) has provided a pathway for children and young adults who came to the United States with their parents to legally obtain a Social Security Number and driver’s license, to work lawfully, and to be protected from the threat of deportation. Over the years, the DREAM ACT which is a permanent solution allowing them to eventually earn citizenship if they go to college, maintain a job, or serve in the U.S. military, has been at risk. I teamed up with my friend Natalia Weedy to shoot a short film in hopes to bring awareness to something that impacts children and young adults across the country.
